Context
Argentine agricultural and farming sector is one of the world’s leading food producers. Its competitive stance in the market comes from its natural resources richness associated with permanent technological innovation and knowledge generation for agro industry. Argentina’s farming machinery industry is made of 730 SMEs manufacturing equipment plus thousands of manufacturers of spares parts. On top of a relevant and unmeasured number of small implements, only in 2013 Argentina produced: 1600 tractors, 3200 seeders, 950 sprayers, 300 harvesters and 1000 headers. As highlighted by recognised international agro-specialists; Argentina is world leader in agro equipment design and technology.
Agroactiva 2016
Static Exposition
When visitors come to AgroActiva they come across an actual city arising in the middle of the field. The exhibitors have a suitable combination of effort, investment and prolixity while displaying their stands and together with their products they make the “static” area comparable with an art gallery about farming production.
Competition is really strong between enterprises and organisms (whether public or private) conforming a huge mixture of exhibitors, and that is why each and every year the effort for attracting people is bigger.
Dynamic field demonstration
Even though during our last editions a wider demand has been consolidated, AgroActiva continues to be the major meeting point in Argentina regarding agricultural machinery.
Agroactiva’s field is prepared with all crops, where: seeders, fertilizers, sprayers, combines, irrigation equipment, baggers, mixers, balers, shredders, among other machinery and implements; work in real conditions.
Nearly a hundred of different brand implements test their own equipments in accurately prepared plots and, under the gaze of an overcritical public, those who want to show their potential will merge with those who want to see the new technology.
