Alexis Esposto

Economists Senior and Lecturer in Economics and Finance

Dr Esposto is an Economist and Senior Lecturer in Economics and Finance, as well as a Linguist at Swinburne University of Technology. He is a highly influential economist with over 15 years’ experience in international trade, labour economics, regional economic development, and the creation of small business enhancement models.

Alexis is currently focusing much of his research on Latin America, where he is conducting research in institutional theory, labour economics, trade flows and export promotion strategies for small and medium sized businesses.

He has published numerous publications, including books, chapters in books, and journal articles. He has presented numerous papers at both national and international conferences. And in 2010, he co-wrote the influential book “Drifting Apart: The Divergent Development Paths of Argentina and Australia”, as part of a joint project with Universidad Nacional del Sur in Bahía Blanca, Argentina, launched by the State Treasurer of the State of Victoria.
